Carnivale

Working for the carnival...where childhood dreams are played out. The dreams should have stayed inside.
It hasn't been what I'd hoped for. There isn't any magic. Just cotton candy. Very over-priced cotton candy by which selling causes people to spit at it's makers. But they buy it anyway. Like they haven't got a choice.
The "carnies" aren't people of Wimsey anymore. They are sad, disgruntled workers in a moving fast food chain. Loosing life to a company run by toothless wonders.
Being a temp pays well. I mean minimum wage plus .50 tip per day. That tip goes to the permanent residents of the carnival.
Slicing my finger gave me a promotion to snow cone lady from ketchup and mustard washer. Horrible cdc plastic snow cones. m mm. BUT, I loved every millapede of it.

Tomorrow I work again at the disgusting, FUNderful place. Stay tuned. ;)

Doug Fir, as we know it.

The sweetest old road bike came my way today. It's got rusted rainbows and a dusty speedometer. 280miles down. No brakes, and a big flower basket. The last time it was ridden on the road had to be 1974. That's when it's road license expired. I'm thinking it's a fixy. Oh Mystery bike! I'mma fix yeww. hmm :)

Fashion Past Forward. May 16th, Eugene Expo center. 5 or 5:30PM. I think it's free. It will be more than entertaining. Bring money, because you'll probably want to buy something. If you want some of my creations and can't afford to buy them. I'm up for trades. So bring something of interest :) I love bones(*wink wink). And material I can always use. Especially pleather-leather, and lace.
